2015-16 SOPHOMORE SEASON WRAP UP

MARCH 9, 2016 - A three-point loss to Aliso Niguel in overtime in all that kept the Triton Sophs from repeating as South Coast League champions.
The team finished 14-8 for the season, 6-2 in league play. It had little trouble with the rest of the South Coast League, but could not get past the Wolverines, losing to them a total of three times during the season. At the 51st Annual Triton Basketball Banquet, four players earned team awards for their roles in leading the team in 2015-16. They were Calin Chin, offensive player of the year; Michael McGreevy, defensive player of the year; Josh Walker, coaches' award; and Fletcher Ames, most improved player. |
