It doesn't seem to matter whom the opponent is lately. The frosh will feel them out in the first quarter (16-13). Build a comfortable lead in the second (33-22). Ramp up the pressure in the third to put the game away (48-33). Then get the entire roster into the action in the fourth.
Something else familiar was seeing Blake Birmingham leading Triton scorers. He had 17. Joey Spurgeon with 12 was the only other San Clemente player in double figures. Ricardo Ashe added 9; Roberto Medrano, 8; James VanGinkel, 6; Kurt Crapo, 3; and Daniel Mircheff and Isaac Rex, 2 each.
The Triton Frosh return to action at 2 p.m. Saturday in a league game at Dana Hills.
