Against Aliso Niguel, the Tritons trailed early, 7-6, at the end of a quarter, but flipped the script for a one-point lead at the half. From there, San Clemente outscored the Wolverines by three in each of the final two quarters for the win.
The Tritons were led by Michael Moran, playing his best game so far this season with 15 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Jimmy Varos and Kai Hadsall each contributed seven points. Varos' came with five rebounds and five steals, while Hadsall pulled down three boards and two steals with two assists.
Trevor Ankrom, Hunter Knights and Luke Melby with two points each accounted for the remainder of Triton scoring. Ankrom led the team in rebounding with eight, and Melby matched Moran with seven boards.
