The Tritons led 9-6 at the end on the first period and built a 25-17 lead the half, having led by as many as 14 in the second quarter. It was 41-28 the end of three before the Tritons out the game away, allowing both teams to play the final five minutes with their reserves on the floor. Aidan Butler led Triton scoring with a career-high 16. Right behind him was sophomore Isaac Rex, who scored 14, despite it being his first basketball action after being pre-occupied with San Clemente's CIF Final-bound football team.
From there, eight each from Blake Birmingham and Roberto Medrano, seven from Chris Kane, four from Evan Banks and a point each from Dylan Hauser, Daniel Mircheff and James VanGinkel were all the Tritons needed.
