Marshall's final points came after Dana had cut the Triton lead to two points with 21 seconds remaining and after junior guard Jimmy Varos had hit two free throws to give San Clemente a four-point cushion. The Tritons trailed 28-23 at halftime, but took control of the game by outscoring the Dolphins by 11, 16-5, in the third quarter.
